| A great meet
to kick off the season. Held at deKoeveand Park in
Southwest Denver; this meet typically has
twenty-five teams and the course is very interesting
with two major creek crossings. It's a little bit of a
shock for first time cross country runners but a meet
that the veterans have grown to love.
The meet begins at 4:00 with the Freshman/Sophomore
races (boys run at 4:00, the girls at 4:10). We
then move on to the varsity races around 4:50 (boys) and
5:20 (girls) and
then finally on to the open races at 6:00 (boys) and
6:10 (girls. The boys
varsity race should also be intriguing as it's their
first appearance since their third place finish at the
State Championships last October. The Cougars
should also be pretty competitive Freshman/Sophomore
races as we have plenty of young talent .
