COLORADO SPRINGS 2008 METRO LEAGUE CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

This meet has been the site of some major rivalries over the past few years.  It also tends to be one of the fastest courses we see all season; so the runners look forward to doing battle at Fountain-Fort Carson High School.

TIME SCHEDULE:  

                             3:00 p.m.      Varsity Boys

                             3:30 p.m.      Varsity Girls

                             4:00 p.m.      Open Boys

                             4:10 p.m.      Open Girls

LOCATION:            Fountain-Fort Carson High School

CORONADO ATHLETES: Dismissed from 6th hour classes.  The busses will leave Coronado (for Fountain) around 1:15 P.M.

TEAM AWARDS:     First- and second-place trophies for each varsity (4A and 5A) race.

INDIVIDUAL            Each varsity division will receive medals for the top five.  Ribbons for 6^th-

AWARDS:              15^th place for each division.  Open runners will receive ribbons for 1^st-15^th place for each division 4A and 5A girls and 4A and 5A boys.
